Position Summary

The Department of Anesthesiology has a non-tenure track faculty position for a pediatric anesthesiologist available at the Assistant Professor rank. The Department is seeking individuals who are able to work with diverse students and colleagues, and who have experience with a variety of teaching methods and curricular perspectives.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Teach medical students, residents, and fellows.
  • Perform direct patient care.
  • Perform clinical/basic research.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Minimum Qualifications
  • MD or DO degree.
  • Must obtain Arizona Medical License before start date.
  • ABA Board certified or in the examination process.
  • Completion of an accredited Pediatric Anesthesiology Fellowship.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Documented record of teaching contributions.
  • Excellent clinical skills.
  • Subspecialty training in pediatric anesthesia.
  • Strong commitment to teaching medical students, residents, and fellows.
  • Ability to perform full spectrum of pediatric anesthesia.
  • Expertise in working with diverse patient populations.
