Position Summary

The Organizational Leadership Program is seeking applications for adjunct instructors to teach courses, including, but not limited to: negotiation and teams, which emphasize the understanding of leadership as a process. Instructors who enjoy working with a diverse, non-traditional student population primarily online will flourish with our students.
A limited number of openings are available each semester, contingent upon enrollment and funding. Possible appoints may not be enrolled in any UA degree program during the contract period. Adjunct meetings are few and generally done online.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Prepare course syllabi, assignments, and activities.
• Prepare and deliver course lectures/workshops online via D2L and other UA tools.
• Critique and grade student assignments and examinations, providing formative feedback.
• Maintain regular student contact.
• Attend meetings as needed.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Minimum Qualifications

Master’s degree in related field to courses taught.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in distance and online learning
• Ph.D. in a related field
• Demonstrated professional commitment to teaching
