Position Summary

Note: This position has been changed from ‘One’ position to "Multiple’ positions.

The Research Specialist performs important lab tasks, including coding and test software for experiments, and conduct simple human behavior experiments.

Duties & Responsibilities

Working on software preparation and testing for experiments;

Working on simple human behavior experiments;

Working on coding and test software for experiments;

Conduct simple human behavior experiments;

A flexible work schedule can be accommodated, including work from home arrangments, however, meeting with the supervising professor twice per week (in person, face-to-face or phone/Skype meeting) is required as designated by the supervisor.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

Proficient with coding software (e.g., Python, Java) in desktop computers and mobile APP for experiments, familiarity with natural language processing (NLP) and NLG is a plus.

Ability to work with faculty and students in the university academic setting.

Bachelor’s degree in a field appropriate to the area of assignment AND two years related research experience; OR, Six years research experience appropriate to the area of assignment; OR, Any equivalent combination of experience, training and/or education.
