Position Summary

The Coordinator, MBA Career Management Operations & Events is an integral member of the MBA Career Management Team at the Eller College of Management. The position requires a highly driven and interpersonal individual who is passionate about helping students and maintaining strong employer relationships. This position is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the Eller MBA Career Management team. The Coordinator is responsible for all employer recruitment activities, including but not limited to: managing job postings, student profiles, and events in Handshake (the University’s job board); planning and implementing information sessions, career fairs, and networking events; and disseminating information to current and potential employers. The position will manage all scheduling, logistics and catering needed for career management events. The Coordinator is expected to maintain a working knowledge of MBA recruiting and hiring practices, employer needs, and trends affecting MBAs.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Manage job postings and on-campus recruiting.
• Assist with existing employer outreach.
• Lead planning for career fairs, networking events, information sessions, and on-campus interviews.
• Manage logistics for company site visits, including transportation, schedule logistics, hotel accommodations, etc.
• Review Handshake and GradLeaders to ensure 100% of seeking students have updated profiles and Eller template resumes.
• Partner with Career Management team to prepare Weekly JobCats communication to students.
• Manage each job posting to ensure students apply; update Career Management team to ensure sufficient applications to posted positions.
• Review resumes and cover letters of applicants and alert Assistant Director for those needing work.
• Attend weekly Career Management team meetings.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Ability to work collaboratively with Career Management team and Eller MBA team
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree
• Experience with planning, organizing, and implementing events
• Ability to travel and work evening and weekend hours

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with job posting systems and CRM systems
• Knowledge of MBA CSEA standards and reporting
