Position Summary

Under the primary supervision of the Eller MBA Assistant Dean, the Coordinator, MBA Student and Program Services is responsible for ensuring seamless course related technologies and university systems. The Student and Program Services Coordinator collaborates closely with MBA colleagues as well as partners within the Eller College and throughout the UA campus. The Student and Program Services Coordinator serves the needs of approximately 500 MBA students across platforms, particularly those in the Online MBA program.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Cultivate and maximize partner relationships with MBA students, graduate assistants, faculty, staff, and community organizations in facilitating program objectives.
• Lead UAccess student coding for Full-Time MBA Evening MBA, Executive MBA and Online MBA platforms.
• Provide student record auditing support to directors for Full-Time MBA, Evening MBA, Executive MBA and Online MBA platforms.
• Prepare class schedule and room needs for all Full-Time MBA, Evening MBA , Executive MBA and Online MBA and communicates this information to central Eller College partners.
• Coordinate classroom operations pertaining to Eller College and UA Room and Course Scheduling .
• Monitor and track system for accuracy with student registration, listserv communication, and D2L or other educational platforms.
MBA Salesforce CRM advocate.
• Provide faculty and student assistance with learning management system and troubleshooting.
• Coordinate student listserv management and training for new colleagues.
• Gather, analyze, interpret and present information for strategic planning and operational purposes.
• Research and identify best practices for information technology and learning management systems from competitor MBA programs.
• Serve on relevant committees pertaining to systems and procedures.
• Identify opportunities to increase operational efficiency with data processing and transmitting information to relevant campus partners.
• Create communication plan and implement course evaluation process for Full-Time MBA core courses, as well as Evening MBA, Executive MBA, and Online MBA courses.
• Facilitate training for colleagues on internal technologies, student management systems, and procedures.
• Participate in selected MBA program events.
• Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

• Demonstrated ability to coordinate graduate program level processes, learning management systems, and student communication tools
• Skill in providing information technology related customer service to users having varied levels of technical expertise
• Ability to effectively work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
• Ability to communicate effectively and contribute problem solutions
• Skill in using an enterprise student data system (e.g. UAccess), a learning management system (LMA) and a customer relationship management system (CRM)
• Skill in using Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, PowerPoint, and other business software

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a field appropriate to the area of assignment; OR minimum 5 years in administrative/program coordinator experience; OR equivalent combination of education and experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with MBA students
• Demonstrated experience providing classroom support assistance for faculty at a top-ranked business college
• Proficiency performing analytic queries in enterprise student data system, e.g. UAccess
• Experience with D2L and Salesforce
