Position Summary

This position will work under the direction of the ag agent performing a variety of duties related to agriculture extension programming; basic clerical duties; data collection; assisting w/presentations and meetings.

The position is based in the Pinal County Cooperative Extension office, in Casa Grande.

Must possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. However, sometimes the county will be able to provide a university vehicle for travel to county-wide events.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Assists in preparing materials for programs or projects by sorting, photocopying and/or stapling
  • Assists in data collection and processing; online searches
  • Assists in preparing routine records and reports for programs
  • Assists in providing general information regarding the program
  • Assists in the collecting and delivery of research materials
  • Assists in the day-to-day office operations
  • Delivers items to other offices or locations
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
  • Knowledge of office etiquette
  • Skill in basic filing
  • Skill in the operation of a variety of office machines, including computers, telephones and copiers
