Position Summary

UA Online Recruiting, a unit under the Division of Student Affairs and Enrollment Management | Academic Initiatives and Student Success, is in search of a Corporate Academic Partner to join its team. As a key professional for a high achieving UA Online team in Academic Initiatives and Student Success, the Corporate Academic Partner manages aspects of employer-related recruitment events and activities for their assigned corporate partners. Events include a variety of large-scale career fairs and graduate school fairs, as well as career mixers, special receptions, presentations and other unique talent acquisition and employer cultivation events that occur both on and off campus. This professional attends to the details of event coordination from tabling material to coordinating with the Corporate Partnerships team and partners on campus who have a hand in a students’ experience at the University of Arizona. The Corporate Academic Partner identifies and targets events toward students’ needs through collaboration with the the Online Recruitment team and other departments at the University of Arizona such as the Bursar’s office, Financial Aid, Student Success, etc. This individual will also be responsible for enhancing communication plans and tabling events through the use of data and industry knowledge. Lastly but most importantly, this individual will be responsible for remaining in contact with new and continuing students to ensure their academic success and that there is a smooth transition for them each term, while coordinating needs with their Student Academic Success Specialist. This includes partnering and supporting their Sr. Corporate Academic Partner co-worker(s) with their own set of corporate partners. This job will require some travel in and out of state for recruitment events. Work may include evening/weekend hours.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist students in UA’s enrollment process and qualifying procedures as it pertains to corporate students at the highest level of quality
• Attend assigned corporation recruitment events in and out of state
• Follow up with corporate students who request information or apply to UA Online via telephone, email, text message and online chat as well as maintain communication with continuing students from term to term
• Advise students about degree programs on the phone or in person (on site at corporation) to determine best fit for student
• Navigate and maintain UA Online’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system (Slate) and automated phone system (dialer) as it pertains to corporate students
• Update corporate student inquiry progression in UA Online’s databases (Slate, etc.)
• Provide feedback to management on issues/trends with corporate students to be relayed to corporation
• Understand all aspects of each assigned corporate relationship (due dates, materials required by corporation, documents required for delayed billing process, scholarship provided etc.)
• Assist the Senior Corporate Academic Partner in identifying employees who are no longer eligible for the partnership (monthly basis or more, if needed)
• Responsible for upholding QA standards of UA and the assigned corporate partners
• Track and request promotional and marketing materials for assigned corporations
• Assist UA Online recruitment team with the general population when needed
• Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Minimum Qualifications

• Enthusiastic personality with an affinity for teamwork and collaboration.
• Self-motivated, strategic, flexible and able to work on multiple tasks with changing priorities as needed.
• Strong organizational and verbal communication skills.
• Computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).

Arizona Board of Regents Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Counseling or related field AND two years counseling experience; OR, Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling or related field AND one year counseling experience; OR, any equivalent combination of experience, training and/or education.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Higher Education, Counseling, Educational Leadership, or related field.
• Experience recruiting in higher education. • 6 months + call center experience in an in­bound and out­bound environment.
