This Assistant Professor, CT will work with PPEL faculty to recruit PPEL majors, rebuild and standardize curriculum, and teach two courses per semester with possibility of course release for admin responsibility .

Duties & Responsibilities

This non-tenure eligible position will teach two courses per semester (Phil 101 and 205), conduct research in related field and serve as the Philosophy, Politics, Economics and Law (PPEL) gateway coordinator, with possibility of course release for admin responsibility. This entails working with existing faculty to rebuild and standardize curriculum. Administration duties are required.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Minimum Qualifications

Ph.D. in a PPE related field of philosophy, politics, or economics.
Administrative experience in a university setting.
Research background in PPE.
Teaching background and course evaluations in PPE.
