Position Summary

The office assistant will support the Harshbarger-Mines Business Center, HMBC. We are willing to train a motivated candidate who thrives in a complex, high-volume operation that offers great opportunity for career advancement.

This is an extended-temporary position for up to two years, with the possibility of becoming regular classified staff and full time.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Greets visitors and directs them to staff or provides information as requested;
• Checks in packages and notifies recipients;
• Reviews and reconciles Pcard transactions;
• Processes a variety of transactions such as travel authorizations, travel expense reports, and reimbursements, etc.;
• Maintains accurate electronic records;
• Handles express shipments (FedX, UPS);
• Other duties may be assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

• Demonstrated ability in oral and written communication;
• Ability to manage competing demands;
• Skill in the use of personal computers and software.

Minimum Qualifications
Arizona Board of Regents Minimum Qualifications

No prior experience required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience working in an office environment;
• Experience with UA systems (UAccess Employee, Analytics , Financials, and Student);
• Previous customer service experience.
