The UA Online Marketing, a unit under the division of Student Affairs and Enrollment Management | Academic Initiatives and Student Success seeks an outstanding Marketing Coordinator to join its online, distance and continuing and professional education marketing, enrollment, and student success team. The successful candidate will be someone who can roll up their sleeves, take on new assignments, and juggle many things at once. The successful candidate will be a multi-faceted individual who can join our rapidly growing division. This individual will have the unique opportunity to support multiple work campus constituencies (e.g., marketing, recruitment and enrollment, the academic colleges, etc.) and manage project implementation from ideation to completion. This person will oversee timelines, assign appropriate resources to new requests from internal and external teams, and handle partnerships with external units as appropriate. The successful candidate will also coordinate requests that tackle creation and implementation of traditional and digital design, the onboarding of new online degree programs to UA Online, user experience, content creation, and the branding of the university’s products/services. We are looking for a team player who is able to juggle multiple projects at one time. Most importantly, you will see your insights have an immediate, tangible impact every day in a well-funded and rapidly growing division within the university. Work may include evening and weekend hours.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Supports various work groups by providing appropriate resources, and coordinating the completion, and progression of multiple projects in the marketing department
• Implements systems and processes
• Sets up meetings with internal team and follows up to ensure projects stay on schedule
• Schedules and coordinates photoshoots in their entirety in regards to securing locations, models, permits, props, etc.
• Resolves scheduling problems
• Manages tasks for student workers
• Assists the Assistant Marketing Director with department invoicing, billing, documentation and organization
• Supports overall unit budgeting and accounting
• Works with Corporate Initiative team for marketing requests, timeliness and scheduling
• Coordinates marketing efforts with other units in UA Online (i.e. Enrollment and Student Success)

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently
• Knowledge of design, brand development, and the creative/design process
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge and understanding of marketing and social platforms

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree AND 1 year administrative/coordinative experience
• Demonstrated project management capacity in the marketing, advertising or technology industry
• Excellent project management, coordination, organizational, communication, and follow-up skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Experience performing a wide variety of tasks under the pressure of deadlines
• Strong motivation and drive to learn new systems and processes
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Enthusiasm and energy to contribute to and thrive in a rapidly growing start-up atmosphere where roles continually adapt and evolve

Preferred Qualifications

•Advanced proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and, ideally, Adobe Creative Suite products
