Position Summary

The Marketing Department at the Eller College of Management is seeking applicants for Senior Adjunct Lecturer. A well-qualified applicant will desire a full-time teaching career, excel in teaching with evidence of excellence at an accredited business school, and be an enthusiastic participant in the Marketing Department and Eller College Community. We are specifically looking for candidates who can teach a variety of sales related topics including sales management, sales communication, consultative selling, retail management, and services management in both the traditional in-class and online formats. In addition, strong consideration will be given to candidates with experience running sales programs that guide students through hands-on sales training and competitions at regional and national levels. Strong industry experience is highly valued. We seek candidates who have strong ties to the marketing profession with knowledge of marketing and sales careers, firms and leaders.

Duties & Responsibilities

Teach three undergraduate level marketing courses per semester. Prepare class syllabus and notes. Instruction includes course preparation, grading assignments, homework, and examinations.

Act as an interface between Department and the business community to develop a Sales Program.

Be available to students for course coaching.

Participate in Marketing Department activities and events.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Minimum Qualifications

Master’s degree in Marketing, Sales, Business Administration or related field or equivalent.

Six years or more experience teaching in at the University level.

Preferred Qualifications

PhD degree in Marketing, Sales, Business Administration or related field.

Previous experience teaching university-level marketing courses.

Online teaching experience.
