Position Summary | The Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at the University of Arizona invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure eligible, multi-year renewable term faculty position at the rank of Assistant/Associate/Full Professor of Practice to begin in August 2018. Position title and salary will be based on the qualifications of the selected candidate. Duties & Responsibilities | The ECE Department has teaching needs in a variety of undergraduate courses including basic circuits, electronic circuits, device electronics, analog integrated circuits, applications of engineering mathematics, introductory and intermediate computer programming (C, C++, Java), microprocessors, embedded systems, signals and systems, electromagnetics and digital design. The candidate is expected to teach a large subset of these courses. The ECE department is in the process of developing a fully online BS program. Therefore, the successful candidate may also be required to develop online courses and teach online. Successful candidates should have a strong commitment to undergraduate education and are expected to demonstrate excellence in teaching and curricular development at the undergraduate level. |

Minimum Qualifications | Applicants should hold a Ph.D. or M.S. in electrical/computer engineering or a related field, with a record of experience and demonstrated excellence in teaching. |
Preferred Qualifications | Significant research or industry experience is preferred for this position. |
