Position Summary

The position is located at the Maricopa Agricultural Center, Maricopa, AZ. The Instructional Aide will assist the Ag-Literacy Program on-site at the Maricopa Agricultural Center and may need to travel off-site to promote or educate children of all ages. A valid driver’s license upon employment is required.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Directs agriculture/nutrition teaching to learners of all ages
  • Assists with set-up and clean-up of Ag-Ventures teaching sites
  • Drivers tractor for tours (training will be provided)
  • Assists in program evaluation and makes recommendations
  • Assists in program promotion

Minimum Qualifications
Arizona Board of Regents Minimum Qualifications

One year of instructional aide or related experience; OR any equivalent combination of experience, training and/or education.

Preferred Qualifications
Full Time/Part Time On Call
Number of Hours Worked per Week varies, 5-19 hrs/wk
