Position Summary

The Student Affairs Systems Groups (SASG) is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Information Technology Support Analyst. Our goal is to hire someone with strong customer service skills and a background in desktop computer support and network management. The ability to learn quickly, work independently, and prioritize work is essential to success in this position. SASG supports desktop computers and servers for 25 departments within Student Affairs in a primarily Microsoft Windows environment.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Assess helpdesk tickets to determine priority and appropriate actions to resolve issues
• Troubleshoot and resolve desktop computer issues
• Ensure security of desktop computers and networks
• Assist and train end-users in the operation and use of software and hardware
• Provide oversight, assistance, and training for student employee desktop support technicians within SASG

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Minimum Qualifications

• Experience working in a helpdesk customer service environment
• Demonstrable knowledge and experience with a Windows Active Directory domain environment including account administration and group policy management
• Valid drivers license and ability to drive according to the University Fleet Safety Policy.

Arizona Board of Regents Minimum Qualifications

Three years of information technology experience in area of assignment which may include system administration, network systems administration, applications design/development, database design/development or administration, web site design/development or administration and workstation/end user support; OR, an Associates degree in Information Technology or related area AND two years of information technology experience in area of assignment which may include system administration, network systems administration, applications design/development, database design/development or administration, web site design/development and workstation/end user support; OR, Any equivalent combination of experience, training and/or education.
