Position Summary

The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering has a current opening for a post-doc researcher starting immediately in microwave engineering and related fields. Successful candidates should have strong motivation and have strong background in 3D printed RF antennas and electronics, millimeter wave imaging, nano-material and devices, THz technology, thermal induced acoustic imaging or related biomedical imaging areas. The following experiences will be a plus: biomedical image processing algorithms, antenna designs, high power microwave instrumentation, ultrasonic imaging, and electromagnetic and ultrasound modeling.

Duties & Responsibilities

We expect the candidate to be performing cutting edge research in a broad range of areas related to microwave engineering. The successful candidate will also be leading a group of graduate and undergraduate students as well as collaborating with a number of other researchers in a team environment. Candidate’s duties will include design, modeling, prototyping and testing of advanced microwave antennas, circuits and systems.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Minimum Qualifications

PhD in electrical engineering or related subject upon hire.

Preferred Qualifications

Strong experimental and theoretical skills in RF / microwave engineering; Creativity; Team working spirit; and Hardworking attitude.
