Position Summary | The University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix Center for Simulation and Innovation is seeking qualified candidates to join our Simulation Center Pool. The Simulation Center Pool positions are split into tiered levels (Entry Level Simulation Worker, Simulation Operator and Inter-Professional Presence (IPP)) to support the Center for Simulation and Innovation (CSI) simulation and events at different levels of skills, experience, and knowledge. As CSI provides services to healthcare students and graduate professionals from several on-campus programs and external clients, these positions may provide inter-professional presence, operate high- and low-fidelity clinical simulation equipment, set-up and tear-down simulation events, and provide a variety of services based on their tiered level’s duties and responsibilities. This is a part time position, scheduled on an as needed basis. The schedule and hours worked will vary based upon events scheduled in the Simulation Center. The shifts can be scheduled for up to 4-8 hours but will vary based on the needs of the program. When scheduled for a shift, parking costs will be covered by the department. Applications will be accepted and reviewed on an ongoing basis and selection of hires will be based on the needs of the program. The Center for Simulation and Innovation at the UA College of Medicine – Phoenix is a state-of-the-art, technology-driven, clinical simulation training facility supporting the innovative educational needs of the medical school and its clinical affiliates, including industry health care partners and the community. This facility is dedicated, in every sense, to providing truly experiential, innovative and immersive simulation education.
