The Department of Computer Science at the University of Arizona invites applications for a post-doctoral research position in the theory of large scale graph visualization, under the direction of Stephen Kobourov. Duties & Responsibilities
  • Study connections geometry, topology and combinatorics in the context of graphs and graph theory
  • Develop graph analysis and visualization algorithms, with theoretical and practical guarantees
  • Collaborate with Math/CS/Statistics to develop realistic solutions to real problems
  • Participate in proposal development
  • Publish research papers in peer-reviewed and visible publications
  • Additional duties may be assigned
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Minimum Qualifications
  • A PhD in computer science or closely related field in hand by time of hire and an established research track record.
Preferred Qualifications

Ideally, we seek a postdoctoral researcher with a background in graph theory, computational geometry and visualization.
