Position Summary

The Mobile Health Program delivers high quality medical care to the underserved and uninsured patient populations in various locations throughout Southern Arizona. The team of caregivers and staff provide preventive health and chronic disease management services using a mobile health unit. The Mobile Health Program Clinic Driver is responsible for driving the mobile health unit to each location and providing clerical support for health services.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Drive the Mobile Health unit to various locations throughout Tucson and the surrounding area.
  • Provide clerical support to providers and staff of the Mobile Health Program.
  • Coordinate patient intake and registration during clinic hours.
  • Perform service and maintenance of university vehicles such as cleaning interior and exterior, changing oil and lubing vehicle or changing tires and light bulbs.
  • Make pre-trip inspection of vehicle in compliance with state regulations.
  • Locate and pick up vehicle parts.
  • Maintain cleanliness of station.
  • Keep vehicle and passenger logs.

Arizona Board of Regents Minimum Qualifications

Six months of experience driving motor vehicles AND possession of a current Arizona Class D driver’s license upon employment.

  • Strong communication skills.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish.
