Position Summary

The Digital Content Coordinator oversees the Eller College of Management’s social media initiatives and publication / distribution of digital content. The Coordinator must have the ability to work collaboratively as a member of a professional team, fulfilling obligations to other team members, being positive and supportive of others and complying with policies, procedures and goals of the team and college. The position reports to the Assistant Dean of Marketing and Communications.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Manage all social media platforms, conducting ongoing research and analysis of social media/digital platforms.
  • Maintain digital media asset library.
  • Manage third-party online content.
  • Monitor and review content, outcome and effectiveness of social/digital media endeavors.
  • Oversee the creation of content, including all phases of production (development, designing, videotaping, editing and uploading final product).
  • Maintain content calendar.
  • Collaborate on email drip campaigns.
  • Manage and report on website analytics.
  • Stay abreast of emerging marketing channels that brand the college as forward-thinking, including producing digital content for public distribution.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
  • Familiarity with managing content in content management systems (Drupal and WordPress preferred). Familiarity with CRMs (Salesforce) a plus.
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics and HootSuite.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills. (Samples required)
  • Skilled photography, design and editing experience.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite and general design principles and photo and video editing software. (Samples required)
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor degree in fields such as communication, advertising, marketing or journalism required. Will consider a combination of academic and work experience that will demonstrate the ability to successfully fulfill the job responsibilities.
  • Minimum of two years experience working in social media with a strong understanding of various platforms including Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Tumblr, Instagram, Google+, Pinterest, etc.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience managing and analyzing HTML email campaigns.
