Position Summary

University Information Technology Services (UITS), within the University of Arizona, is looking for a motivated individual to lead an experienced, high quality team of business analysts supporting enterprise services including Kuali Financials and Kuali Research. The successful candidate will be an experienced manager with strong project management and business analysis skills who will lead and inspire team members to achieve outstanding results. Duties & Responsibilities

•Manage, develop and mentor a team of business analysts who support enterprise systems such as Kuali Financials and Kuali Research, both open-source java based systems.
•Build relationships with business stakeholders, technical teams, peer institutions and vendors.
•Manage multiple projects with dynamic priorities, meeting deadlines and exceeding expectations.
•Build and maintain templates for standard BA tools such as business cases, use cases, fit gap analyses, test plans and requirements specifications.
•Discover, promote and implement continuous improvements.
•Create and maintain documentation.

Minimum Qualifications

Seven years of progressively responsible information technology experience including one year of supervisory experience; OR, Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems or a related field AND four years of information technology experience which includes one year of supervisory experience; OR, any equivalent combination of experience, training and/or education.

Preferred Qualifications

•Experience with Jira.
•Business Analyst Certification.
•3+ years management experience.
•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
•Excellent communication skills -ability to effectively present ideas, both orally and in written form.
•Demonstrated customer focus through the establishment of strong customer relationships and the creation of processes from a customer viewpoint.
•A strong track record of problem-solving in a collaborative team environment, including familiarity with agile methodologies such as Scrum, and/or Kanban.
