Position Summary

A Research Technician position is available within the College of Pharmacy providing research assistance to Dr. Rich Schnellmann. The successful candidate selected for this position will perform research on mitochondria in spinal cord injury in Dr. Schnellmann’s laboratory.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Participate in studies related to mitochondria in renal disease.
  • Perform data collection and make preliminary analysis.
  • Maintain detailed records of experiments.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
  • Knowledge of modern research methods, data collection and analyses.
  • Skill in analyzing and evaluating data.
  • Ability to effectively communicate.

Bachelor’s degree in a field appropriate to the area of assignment; OR, Four years research experience appropriate to the area of assignment; OR, Any equivalent combination of experience, training and/or education.
