Position Summary

The Instructional Aide will assist the Ag-Literacy Program on-site at the Maricopa Agricultural Center and may need to travel off-site to promote or educate children of all ages.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Directs agriculture/nutrition teaching to learners of all ages.
  • Assists with set-up and clean-up of Ag-Ventures teaching sites.
  • Drives tractor for tours. Training will be provided.
  • Assists in program evaluation and makes recommendations.
  • Assists in program promotions.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Minimum Qualifications
  • Valid driver’s license with the ability to drive according to the University Fleet Safety Policy.
  • Basic computer experience.
Arizona Board of Regents Minimum Qualifications

One year of instructional aide or related experience; OR any equivalent combination of experience, training and/or education.
