Position Summary

The incumbent will assist with parenting classes and child care to limited income adults in large classes at cooperating agencies and schools, in Coolidge and Arizona City. Classes will run for 16 weeks at a time and the incumbent will be on-call to assist, in case the scheduled trainer cannot make their scheduled time. The successful candidate may also distribute parenting information at health fairs and local facilities. This position requires working nights and weekends.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Identify and recruit limited income families.
  • Plan and prepare meals for classes.
  • Assist w/classes and workshops that reinforce parenting program.
  • Assist with child care and children’s classes.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Minimum Qualifications
  • Access to reliable transportation.
  • Skill in working w/others.
  • Ability to follow required teaching material.
Arizona Board of Regents Minimum Qualifications

No prior experience required.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of community health and social agencies and programs in Pinal County.
  • Bilingual English and Spanish.
