Position Summary

Develop innovative research projects in the area of autonomic computing, Big Data Analytics and Cyber Security. Supervise and manage ongoing research projects at the Autonomic Computing Laboratory (ACL). Manage the computing, storage and network resources available at the UA Autonomic Computing Lab.

Duties & Responsibilities

Develop research projects. Assist or write proposals related to ongoing research projects. Supervise graduate students working in the ACL. Manage ongoing research projects. Teach, lecture and advise students.
Additional duties may be assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Minimum Qualifications

PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline.

Experience in the following: VMware, Open Stack Cloud Virtual Environment, Parallel and Distributed Computing Cyber Security Tools, Intrusion Detection and Protection Big Data Analytics Tools, Autonomic Data Analytics and Protection, Autonomic Control and Management.
