Position Summary

Assists in the development and presentation of teaching programs and serves as liaison between three Family Resource Centers to ensure program fidelity.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Prepares activities and materials for lead Center facilitators. Helps distribute and collect paperwork for classes.
• Teaches core classes (Power of Parenting, Play Groups, Story Time, Keys for Threes, etc), plans and implements special programs and substitutes as needed.
• Presents effectiveness of teaching methods and work activities.
• Assists with outreach for the Center.
• Shares expertise in class planning and implementation with other Centers.
• Orients incoming students as required.
• Participates in research of curriculum development, planning and implementation.
• Creates developmentally appropriate activities, trains other child care providers and provides child care for Family Resource Centers.
• Helps coordinate and maintain supply and incentive inventory for the Program.
• Other duties as assigned.

Arizona Board of Regents Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a field appropriate to the area of assignment; OR, four years of progressively responsible instructional or subject work experience; OR, any equivalent combination of experience, training and/or education.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of teaching principles, practices and procedures.
• Skill in teaching applications.
• Ability to effectively communicate in English and Spanish.
